Edmund Griffin
Traveling and living abroad as a child left designer Edmund Griffin with an indelible impact that influences his intricate, custom furniture pieces to date. Coupled with his diverse education and employment that includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boston University; continued studies at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc); an apprenticeship for an architectural photographer; and working in various capacities for refurbishers of historic furniture and design+build firms, Griffin approaches each assignment with an artistic and technical perspective. The Southern Californian craftsman fuses his love of nature and modernism into a new hybrid of furniture design that is rooted in American traditions of handmade quality and strength. The result of his authentic aesthetic is quickly catching the attention of urban dwellers and design–savvy patrons in search of well-appointed furniture.

When not in the workshop, Griffin enjoys the great outdoors and beach living with his wife Lizet and two dogs.
